FEELING THE LOVE

After an extremely busy and stressful week at work, I found the following card on my desk, on Friday after lunch.

SORRY THAT YOUR WORKPLACE:
o is a cubicle.
o is a closet.
o is a conversion van.
o has no windows.
o smells like feet.
o has bad feng shui.
o prohibits alcohol consumption.
o does not permit pajamas on casual day.
o has a strict “no flip-flops” plicy.
o schedules mandatory potluck lunches.
o conducts random drug testing.
o recently installed security cameras in the restrooms.
o was redecorated in 1987.
o frowns on in-office napping.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE:
o you get to go home most weekends.
o you have your very own desk chair.
o you have full access to the janitorial supplies.

She marked off each line. I love my coworker, she is a knitter, how can I not. That really made the week end with feeling better.

Alright, I started playing with Word Press and the new template. I can do this, I think. It’s funny how you are get so used to things. I miss Moveable Types because I knew where I had to go when I wanted to changed something, anything. Not anymore, but it’s good for my brain. So bare with me.

I am still knitting. A LOT. For me, for other people, gifts, for secret projects, that will be published one day. All very exciting. And I am back to teaching. Now, that is really the exciting part about this. More about all this later.
